A new stadium plan for the New Orleans Pelicans would include a massive massage and spa, according to a report from The Associated Press.
The proposal is in the works for an area adjacent to the Superdome.
The report said the plan would include about 400 massage parlor workers and spa facilities, plus a “massage house” in the “front yard.”
The report also noted that the plan is being developed by the city of New Orleans and a private developer, and it was unclear whether the project would include the construction of a new football stadium.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported last month that the city’s new stadium is expected to cost about $1 billion, including about $500 million for the stadium.
