In a new interview with Tucker Carlson Tonight, “The Bachelor” runner-ups Rachel Bloom and Tucker Carlson are saying they will not be on the show next year.
Bloom, the former “Gossip Girl” star and “Real Housewives of New York City” star, and Carlson, who has been on “Tucker” for more than four decades, told the host they are not coming back to the network next year for “a number of reasons.”
Bloom and Carlson were asked by Carlson about what they would do if the network decided to change their minds.
Bloom replied, “I am not going to make a deal with anyone.
I will not do this.
We have enough problems on this planet without putting people in a position where they have to lie to you.
We don’t need to be putting people into a position of fear.”
Bloom said she did not think the network would change its mind, despite Carlson’s comments, saying, “We will continue to be great to our loyal viewers.
We love them.”
Bloom also said she would have to make some tough decisions about whether she would be back on the network if she were asked to do so.
She added, “There are some people that will want to do it.
I am not one of them.
There are people that want to be in the business.”
Carlson, however, said that the network is “not in any hurry” to bring back Bloom.
He added that “there are a lot of people on this network that want a job and want to make money.
They will go where the money is, and we will go with the money.”
Bloom added, “[Carlson] has done nothing wrong.
He has not done anything wrong.
There have been a lot worse people in the history of the world that have been in the media.
So I would hope they would give him a chance.”
Bloom, who recently appeared on “The View,” is set to reprise her role as a high school teacher in the upcoming season of “The Big Bang Theory.”
In the same interview, Bloom said, “If there was a decision that we could make to not be a part of this network, then we would have the right to do that.
I would not be in a situation where I am in fear of losing my job because I have been doing the job that I love and I think it is the best for my family.
If there was another decision that I would have a choice, I would.”
